Mexico Mystic IS Bob Cox,  practically a “lifer” in Mexico (mainly Puebla and Tlaxcala), who currently lives in Apizaco, Tlaxcala.  He is a “fun” guy, a great cook, and a very professional guide WITH a great spouse, Rachel.  Here is a photo of Bob (or Robert) —

  1. This blog is about life & lifestyles in Central Mexico. Mostly the Tlaxcala/Puebla/Mexico City Area. Hopefully with some ideas about overcoming problems & culture shock in Mexico.

After living in Mexico for over 40 years I think my experiences may be helpful to some people.

  2. Bobby, I worked with you on many dates back in the late 70’s early 80,s, with my boyfriend at the time Spin. I was wondering if you still have any contact with Tommy Peco, or know where he is? I see you are doing really good and you and your wife seem to be doing very well. Again great to see you and any info would be helpful. Thank you..

  11. Hello Bob,I was doing some research for my blog when I stumbled across yours. Absolutely love it. Probably one of the best blogs I’ve seen, very clean, great pictures, wonderful stories and all. The reason I say all this is that I created on my blog what I call Mirror Reflections which show the similarities and differences between cultures. I started it some time ago to show friends back in the states just how much we are all alike. When I found your I thought it was perfect for my readers. I hope you don’t mind that I’ve done a pingback so others can find your blog. If you are interested you can come take a look at what I’m doing at: hague6185.wordpress.com. Thanks Steve

  12. Dear BoB,

My name is Joyce and I work for ExpatFinder.com.
ExpatFinder.com is a free one stop website for people preparing to move or working and living overseas. We provide a myriad of services for expatriates and we have over 2,000 articles to help and support the people moving around the world and we are now creating an interview section to help the expats with real life experiences!
We quite enjoy your blog about living in Tlaxcala, it is very interesting and informative. Would it be possible to interview you to further share some of your tips and feature some of your first hand experience as an Expat and your interview will be published on our Expat Interview section as a guide for our expat readers. The questions are mainly about the day to day lifestyle of an expat. If it would be possible, could you also send some photographs that we can use?
Of course, if you accept, we can add a link to your blog or some of your website.
The questions are enclosed, feel free to respond freely. You can return the doc with your answers if you accept this invitation.
Thanks in advance and do let me know if you prefer other means to conduct this interview and we would be happy to accommodate your terms.

    Best regards,
    Joyce

  13. Hi Bob!
My name is Natalie Sullivan and I’m casting an international travel show about expats moving abroad. We’d love to film in Mexico and wanted to know if you could help us find expats who have moved there within the last 15 months or have been there for 3-4 years, but recently moved into a new home. The show documents their move to a new country and will place the country in fabulous light. The expats on the show would also receive monetary compensation if they are filmed. They must also speak English fluently and can be buyers or renters for their homes. If you’d like more information, please give me a call at 212-231-7717 or skype me at natalieesullivan. You can also email me at nataliesullivan@leopardusa.com. Looking forward to hearing from you.
